Day 3 Dave Matthews Band Caravan Time to Wrap it up and Bring it on Home

Immediately after his set across the way, Philly rockers Dr. Dog took the Atlantic stage. They ripped through their set of carefully crafted melodies, harmonies, lyrics, and riffs to an engaged crowd. It's great to see a band that works hard get to a place where they can take the stage at a festival like this and get such a response as they did. Crowd favorites ironically included some of their rare radio plays, 'Shadow People' and 'The Ark'. and then of course Dave Matthews Band played. No guests tonight, I guess everyone went home, ha!. A few covers though, Aerosmith's Sweet Emotion and then Sly and the Family Stone's Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) which ended the encore. If it wasn't for save a few songs, you could have pulled this setlist from around '99. With so many recent songs the first two nights, I figured we see some of these tonight, but they kept them coming. Anyway, the band was a lot tighter tonight than the first two nights. They seem to be back in the swing of things.
