Robert A. "Bob" BerkheimerRobert A. "Bob" Berkheimer, 76, of Selbyville, formerly of Baltimore, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin.
He had been an investigator for the Maryland Department of Motor Vehicles and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Air Force, where he served in the Strategic Air Command.
He was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Ocean City, a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Archbishop Curley Council in Baltimore and a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 9053, Ocean City.
He was also a member of the Ocean City American Legion, the Board of Directors of the Swann Keys Association and was treasurer of ABC Club in Baltimore.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth A. Berkheimer.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Katherine M. Berkheimer; a son, Anthony G. Berkheimer and his wife, Joyce, of York, Pa.; a daughter, Deborah M. Barefoot of Ashland, Pa.; a sister, Mary Bell Koch and her husband, Richard, of Cub Hill, Md.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Services were held.

Hilda B. BuntingHilda B. Bunting, 79, of Roxana, died Saturday, June 18, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Vicky Fogerty.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Franklin D. Bunting; children, James Hickman and his wife, Annette, Bruce Bunting and his wife, Doris, Franklin D. Bunting Jr. and Dianna Hickman and her husband, Earl; a sister, Doris Truitt; half-sisters, Nellie and Clair; grandchildren, Danielle Jarvis, Petey Donaway, Matt Donaway, Stacey Churchill, Mark Fogerty and Dustin Bunting; and six great-grandchildren.

John W. DicksonJohn W. Dickson, of Lewes, died Monday, June 13, 2011, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served as a patrolman for the Milford Police Department and the Delaware State Police. During his service with the DSP, he was a founding member of the S.C.U.B.A. team and the Law Enforcement Explorers and was one of the first five officers to operate Trooper Dan. He was also a youth officer in local schools.
After he retired, he worked at Tom Harold Buick and CP Diver as a service manager. He entered public service again in 1997, working as a special investigator for the Office of the Public Defender in Georgetown.
