Black Jack Savage might sound like a pirate name --- that's because it is. Long before Jack Sparrow, Black Jack Savage was the ghost of a pirate of the Caribbean. He meets up with Barry Tarberry, a con-artist who has escaped to the Caribbean in order to evade jail. The two souls are damned to Hell, but hey, if they manage to save 100 souls themselves, they can avoid that fate. Oh yeah, the US government is trying to find and expedite Tarberry and what poses as supernatural law is trying to send Savage to Hell. Sounds fun, right? I was being sarcastic. Obviously, this thing was doomed to fail. And fail it did…after only seven episodes. I doubt it would get that many today. If you thought the concept for Black Jack Savage was weird, wait until you hear this. Dr. Jonathan Chase would fight crime by changing into any animal he wanted. He apparently learned these abilities travelling the world. Nevermind that he always changed into an eagle or black panther because those were the two "transformation" sequences they had in the can. He would occasionally turn into something else, just off screen. Nevermind his clothes, they'll come right back on in perfect condition once he transforms back. Add in some stock footage of animals and we're golden, right? Oh wait, it's scheduled against Dallas in 1983? Toast. Not even the late, great Stan Winston could help this one. To be fair, even though I watched this show, the premise is just as wacky as the two shows above it. Brilliant inventor guy creates a robot daughter and they live happily ever after. WHAT?!! Like I said, this one hits hard because I watched the show as a kid. I wouldn't say I was a huge fan, but I mustn't of hated it because I always remembered it. In fact, a couple of years ago someone was doing RETRO reviews of Small Wonder episodes. I can even remember the damn theme song. I had always just tossed Small Wonder into the category of "Wacky 80s" stuff like the family who had an alien living with them, or the buddies who dressed like women in order to stay in an all women apartment complex. I don't know that anything that had four seasons and damn near 100 episodes can really be so atrocious, but a lot of people didn't like it. This one doesn't sound terrible. Not, at least, when you consider the time period. Hosted by Jackie Gleason, four celebrities would take turns putting their heads into pictures.

Some clown costumes even come with a nose that can be “honked”, making a ridiculously hilarious noise. Depending on what type of colors you want to dress in, you can find patterns which go along with them. The best way to do this is by looking online for clown costumes.  By looking online, you will find plenty more to choose from as opposed to going to the party store in your area.

The Evil Clown

Usually known as the Scary clown, this clown runs around to frighten others. If you have ever read the book “IT” by Stephen King, you know exactly what we mean. Pick a favorite color and match some patterns to go with your costume. Once you have done that, you can use a scary looking clown mask. Or you can paint your face white, with blood dripping along the side.

The Friendly, Cute Clown

Do you want to go as a cute clown? You can wear a colorful miniskirt, with an orange afro to go along with it. Feel free to take a Lolly-Pop as your accessory. Some woman love to wear suspenders with their skirt, and pull the straps over a tight top. Add pink, heart shaped paint over the nose and you will be the best looking clown out there! For laughs, add some overly large shoes to stomp around in.
