What does everyone think about the new website and name change?

I think the new website is appealing, but I've had difficulty trying to navigate the Events Calender. I'm trying to find a way to view the tournaments listing like you could on the old site. I also can't find the event calendar/Series Schedule for the upcoming Fall Season because I wanted to see what sections have already announced their Sectional Tournament weekends.

USA Ultimate is cool, but I prefer UPA more. It's something more familiar with current players and USA Ultimate seems more like a team name to me that isn't reflective of the league/organization.

I'm in full support of USA Ultimate.
I think the name is a smart move. It goes right along with other governing bodies: US Lacrosse, US Soccer, etc.
It makes more sense, and sounds better for marketing purposes.

I'm so pumped for these changes and the growth that ultimate is going to see. I really wish that we could make that happen quickly here in the midwest and am doing all i can to see it happen.

Also, I was so happy for the Live Broadcast of the College Finals. I was playing it through my big screen tv, full screen. Although it was a little grainy because of internet quality, it was so cool to be sitting on my couch with beer in hand for 2 hours cheering on a Carleton, booing everytime Florida called a foul or got a D, and cheering when Carleton scored. As that was happening, I could really see the potential of Ultimate being a mainstream sport. (We just need better commentators).

As far as the "Events Calendar" on the website, its a little frustrating that its only going to list "sanctioned" events, but after the talk we had with the CEO when i was out in Denver, I understand USA Ultimate's stance and goal on the issue so I'm in support of it.

Perhaps its time for the UPOz to re-brand????

On a completely unrelated note...

I heard Florida won nationals... I'm playing in the Sunshine State Games next weekend in Gainesville with my club team and I'm going to get to play against them... going to be one Satan's Bed and Breakfast of a hard game but still really cool to get to play against the national winners
