Pasta Express Night for a Good Cause

As most of you know, I am currently doing my internship at St. John's here in Springfield. One of the co-workers here is dealing with an agressive form of cancer and the rehabilitation floor has organized this fundraiser to help pay for medical expenses.

Past Express is cheap and yummy! you get pasta, salad, and bread for under 6 bucks!!!! so this would be a good way for everyone to hang out after practice, since the fundraiser goes until 9. I have night class unit 8 on Wednesdays, but i plan to attend this directly after that. There is also a silent auction and raffle that is going on. If you are interested in going please let me know and i can give you a ticket saying that you would like %15 of your meal funds to go towards Katy.

They are also having a silent auction and a raffle for free 1 free dinner a week for a year! the raffle tickets are $1! You can also buy those from me if you are interested!

Lastly, they have a drive through! so if you are in a hurry you can jump in line, hand them your coupon or mention Katys name and be on your way!

This is an easy and fun way that we can help somone in need, and even if half of our teams attend, it will make a huge difference! I appreciate everyone's support and hope to see everyone there!!

Pasta Express will donate 15% of the sales between 4pm and 9pm.
Pasta Express has also donated, for a raffle, one family meal per week for a year. The raffle tickets will be available on the above mentioned night at Pasta Express for $1; all raffle proceeds go directly to Katy.
A Silent Auction will be taking place next door to Pasta Express as well and all proceeds go directly to Katy Phillips.

Katy is a wonderful 27 year old woman who works at St. John’s Hospital as an Occupational Therapist. She has been battling an aggressive cancer and needs assistance with paying for her medication and other medical expenses. Please join us in our effort to make a difference.

UPA dues!

hey ladies,

please remember to make life easy for amanda, heather and stephaine and join for the Ultimate Players Association, and pay your dues AFTER JANUARY 1ST! so you are an eligable college player for the spring tournaments. you can pay dues with a credit card or send your money. also you need to make sure you sign your wavier online, or print it out and mail it because you are not eligable without a wavier, even if your dues are paid.

obvioulsy, old players need to renew thier memberships.

when you sign up you will get a UPA number, the ladies will need this to make rosters so write it down, remember it, and post it here.

Jerseys

This year we are ordering black and white jerseys in women’s sizes. The logo will be a girly bearhead with a bow and has splatter pain behind it. The logo on both jerseys will be pink. The back will say women’s ultimate and have your number. We are also looking into ordering half zip jackets. They will have the logo on the front and women’s ultimate on the back. They will also be black. If we get 12 orders we will also order trucker hats that are black with a pink logo.

The women’s team is putting fundraiser money towards jerseys for women only. Any other items purchased will be at their normal price.

Due to time constraints I will be ordering everything this Friday or the following Monday, which mean I WONT have prices for you until then. It can be assumed that the jerseys will be under $30. I will make it my goal to keep the zipper jackets under $35.
